Before the First Burn
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting. This ensures an even flame and prevents soot.
Let the candle burn until the entire surface melts (usually 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and creates a smooth, even wax pool.
During Use
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep candles away from drafts, vents, fans, and open windows — this helps the flame stay steady.
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from curtains, plants, or flammable objects.
Do not leave a burning candle unattended.
After Each Burn
Extinguish gently using a snuffer or by dipping the wick into melted wax, then re-centering it while warm.
Allow wax to cool before moving the jar.
Keep your wick trimmed before every new burn.
